Dryden & District Agricultural Society invites tenders for parking control during the fair, August 23 – 27, 2017
The successful bidder will work under the direction of the second Vice President. The name and contact information of the person in charge of parking attendants, each day, must be provided to the office, and will be then provided to the 2nd Vice. The 2nd Vice will communicate with that person and they in turn will be responsible to relay the information to the attendants.
August 23. The successful bidder will be responsible to mark/rope out the parking area, to allow for a free flow of traffic in and out of the grounds and providing specific areas for handicapped, directors, livestock trailers, as directed by the 2nd Vice.
All attendants will require safety vests and flashlights.
August 24 – 26: 8:00 am – 11:00 pm There must be an attendant assigned to the drive-in gate to ensure : a) that a safe unloading area is provided for seniors, and handicapped, prior to the vehicle being taken to the parking area. b) that no animals other than those in the livestock shows are permitted on the grounds.
There must be an attendant at the exit gate to ensure no entrance through that gate, except for emergency vehicles if required (fire, police, ambulance)
There must be sufficient attendants in the parking area : a) to keep traffic moving and to provide direction to parking spots that may have become vacant, allowing patrons to park as close to the fair as possible; b) to assist patrons to locate their vehicle, especially in the evening.
August 27 between 10:30 and 2:00, the successful bidder must gather up all equipment (ropes, signs, etc) and return them to the office. They must provide the office with an invoice. If the invoice is delivered at this time, it will be paid immediately. If the invoice is not delivered at this time, it must be mailed/emailed and must include a proper mailing address, and will be paid upon receipt.
The lowest or any bid not necessarily accepted.
